This quick and easy trick is pretty obvious, but if it has never occurred to you please don't hesitate and try it!
A value is a very important component of a good illustration. It helps to define the main object, separate perspective layers, set the accents, and the mood of an artwork.
Just open your phone camera and choose the black/white effect.
Absolutely easy, but very helpful.
